This YOGA WORKSHOP for RUNNERS is the perfect opportunity to work deep in to the areas that get progressively tight and constricted from the repetitive movement pattern of our sport. In a 2.5 hr sequence we will spend time: • continuing to build strength in the CORE - this time focusing on the deep postural muscles of the core • stretching and lengthening the muscles around the hips to bring space back into the body in an attempt to release our ITB (Illiotibial Band) leading to a release of tension and discomfort around the hips and knees; • learning techniques to help the body recover and repair - after all recovery is a critical part of any well structured training program and arguably the hardest element for active results driven individuals to master • exploring ways of settling and building strength and focus in the mind Whilst focused on runners - this workshop will also benefit cyclists, triathletes, and people that participate in active sports.

You don't need to have practised yoga before - this can be a great introduction to what yoga is all about and equally if you are a regular practitioner an opportunity to delve a little deeper into your sport specific practise.
