Indo-Pak cooperation: The keystone to peace in South Asia? Join our speakers at this seminar which aims to highlight the benefits of cooperation between India and Pakistan in South Asian politics, and discuss their influence in shaping the polity of key regional players particularly, Bangladesh, Afghanistan and Myanmar. The panel of speakers include Major Gaurav Arya, Junaid Qureshi, Victoria Schofield and Dr. Gautam Sen. - Junaid Qureshi is the son of separatist leader Hashim Qureshi and is one of the sane voices from Terror infested Kashmir. He dons many hats; he is a writer, political analyst, International human rights activist, and a senior leader of the Jammu Kashmir Democratic Liberation Party (JKDLP). He also serves as the director of European Foundation for South Asian Studies (EFSAS), a think tank based in Amsterdam.

Junaid is a votary of Peace in Kashmir and South Asia and has represented Kashmir in United Nations several times. - Major Gaurav Arya is a war veteran, who served with the Kumaon Regiment of the Indian Army. An expert on national security, Kashmir, Afghanistan-Pakistan relationship & Militant Islam, he currently serves as the Defence & Strategy Consultant with Republic TV (India) and hosts their popular show “Patriot”. - Victoria Schofield is a celebrated British author, biographer, and military historian. An expert in South Asian politics she has authored may books including Kashmir in the Crossfire & Kashmir in Conflict. - Dr. Gautam Sen is President, World Association of Hindu Academicians, Co-director of the Dharmic Ideas and Policy Foundation and the Director of the Gandhi-Einstein Foundation. He was an adviser to the Prime Minister’s Office in Bharat on economic liberalisation and Indo-Nepal relations and appointed a member of the Eminent Persons Group of the Indo-UK Roundtable. Dr. Sen has previously taught at the London School of Economics and Political Science for more than two decades.
