Virtual Futures presents internet commentator Andrew Keen in conversation on his new book, 'How to Fix the Future: Staying Human in the Digital Age.' Combining his experiences in Silicon Valley with extensive interviews and analysis, Andrew identifies the strategies we need to tackle the huge challenges of this digital century. Through examining the way in which regulation, innovation, social responsibility, consumer choice and education has been utilised around the globe; he questions whether we are seeing the beginning of the end of the America-centric digital world. If this is the case, then might the economic inequality, unemployment, erosion of privacy and individual alienation caused by the digital upheaval still be solveable? And if so, might the future yet become something that we can look forward to? Join us to understand how we can protect humanity from the dark side of the digital future.

Andrew Keen is an author, broadcaster, speaker and entrepreneur and one of the world's best-known and controversial commentators on the digital revolution. He is the executive director of the Silicon Valley salon FutureCast, a columnist for GQ magazine and the author of three acclaimed and prescient books: The Internet Is Not the Answer, Digital Vertigo and The Cult of the Amateur.
