I'm coming to Deadly is the Female in the summer and after my London workshops selling out in just 5 minutes, I've decided to do TWO different workshops. Tickets are going on sale at 8pm on Tuesday 13th of March at They will be £85, with a option to pay full price upfront or secure your ticket with a 50% deposit and the balance payable 6 weeks later. Every ticket also includes a goody bag with a exclusive Splendette Bangle, Shazam Pin Up Hair Flowers, styling products from Kenra Professional and a treat from Deadly is the Female <3 Please read below for a decription on what workshops I'll be offering: _________________________________________ Beginners/Intermediate Hair and Makeup Workshop Sunday 10th June 9.30-12.30pm This workshop is a great, ‘all-rounder’ for the vintage or pinup loving lady who wants to learn some staple hair and makeup techniques and improve her skills.

Starting with makeup, I will begin by demonstrating on a model a basic modern pinup look including foundation, eyeshadow, liquid liner, brows, contour, blush, highlight and of course red lipstick. With each step demonstrated, you will then be able to try it for yourself under my guidance which is ideal especially if you are unsure of what suits you or how to apply it for your individual face. We will then move on to hair and go through the classic 50s brushout, creating that classic Marilyn Monroe front swoop AND also sculpting 1940s Victory Rolls. ________________________________________ Advanced Vintage Hairstyling Workshop Sunday 10th June 2.30-5.30pm Ideal for the intermediate – advanced level vintage lady who’s comfortable with setting their own hair and looking to learn new updos’s and techniques. In this workshop, you’ll be learning four different vintage styles. I’ll begin each style by demonstrating it on a model before inviting you to give it a go on yourself. We will start by creating the Poodle hairstyle that was made iconic by Lucille Ball in the 50s. This style is fabulous for hair that doesn’t hold curl well and often you can sleep on it and wear it for several days in a row. Next, we will move onto Bumper Bangs which is a quick and easy technique that gives that Bettie Page vibe but without having to cut your fringe. Do them smaller for a more authentic feel or big and bold for a Rockabilly look. After bumper bangs, we’ll give Victory Rolls a try. These are actually quite simple but they can be difficult to get the hang of. I’ve got a few tricks up my sleeve to make them just that little bit easier and I’ll be able to help you create that perfect roll. Finally, we will do a 1940s Gibson Roll at the back. This is such a timeless look and can be combined with a variety of styles at the front.
