Separate real news from bald-faced lies in this special edition pub quiz. How well can you spot a fib from a mile away? Why do people believe in conspiracy theories? Is fake news just harmless fun or a growing problem? Join political psychologist Keith O’Brien and conspiracy theory expert Viren Swami, as they take you behind the science of fake news. You’ll need a sense of humour and a healthy dose of scepticism to make it through these quick fire rounds – they're jam-packed with the latest science and the most up-to-date nonsense that is flooding our media. And remember, there’s prizes up for grabs. This is the third event of our 2018 monthly residency at The Book Club. Previous nights sold out fast so book early to avoid disappointment. Follow us on facebook.com/guerillascientist and guerillascience.org to keep up with latest news and upcoming events.
