*** This Event Is Open To Coventry City Council Staff ONLY *** Two Workshops: Monday 11th March (1300 – 1630) - Diamond Room 2, Council House, CoventryFriday 22nd March 2019 (1300 – 1630) - Diamond Room 2, Council House, Coventry--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This bespoke session has been put together by the Family Nurse Partnership Team in Coventry, in conjunctionwith Children’s Services Principal Social Worker and the FNP National unit in order to give practitioners anopportunity to think about childhood experiences in practice. Childhood experiences, both positive and negative, have a tremendous impact on future outcomes, and lifelonghealth and opportunity.

As such, early experiences are an important public health issue. Much of the foundationalresearch in this area has been referred to as Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs). Adverse Childhood Experiences have been linked to:• Risky health behaviours• Chronic health conditions• Low life potential• Early death. As the number of ACEs increases, so does the risk for these outcomes.
