A fantastic family run, dog friendly, all ability led one mile event.Run, walk and talk for one mile at 3pm around the marshalled route around Country Fest, spend the day at the show and then join us on a walka nd talk session at 3pm.. This is a great opportunity to support your own mental health via exercise, with a friendly group in a beautiful environment.This is a great introduction to exercise, entering an event and participating with other people. This is an entry-level event to the Parkrun or Couch25k with joggingpals, or to kick start some movement/exercise for yourself and others.Registration is in the hall from 2pm at Jogging Pals tent on the showfield. Donations on the day are required so that we can keep this event going. Photos and secure facebook group - '#mentalhealthmile events', available for those wishing to enter, post photographs and chat.

  FAQs Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event? No minumun age but children must be accompanied by an adult. What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event? Travelling by car From M6 Northbound Exit the M6 at junction 35, take the A601(M) Carnforth/ Morecambe/A6 At the roundabout take the second right onto the A6 (1/2 mile) Follow Show signage At the roundabout take the 2nd exit onto A6070. Turn left to stay on the A6070 Follow Signage to the Car Parks From M6 Southbound Exit the M6 at junction 36 and follow signage From Kendal (west) and the Lakes From A591 exit at Brettagh Holt/Sizergh and follow A590 Barrow Follow signage via A6 through Milnthorpe From Kendal (east) Follow A65 to Crooklands From Kirkby Lonsdale A65 Continue on A65 towards Junction 36 M6 and follow signage From Barrow A590 Exit at Levens Bridge and follow A6 through Milnthorpe Shuttle Bus Stagecoach operate a FREE return bus service from Kendal and Milnthorpe to the showground for the Westmorland County Show Day commencing at 9am – 6pm What can I bring into the event? Please wear waterproofs if necessary.

There will be no refunds, this event is run by volunteers for the community Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? If you remeber too, but not important as we should have a list of names ready, or just tell the admin team you've already registered. We need name and contact details (email), so then you are insured on the day. Can I update my registration information? Yes Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable? No, we don't have admin people available to change all these details, sorry. Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends? The name needs to match for health and safety reasons.
