The Law and Practice of Private Prosecutionsby Gillian Jones QC of Red Lion Chambers and Andrew Marshall, Partner at Edmonds Marshall McMahon This lecture will address the law and practice involved in bringing a Private Prosecution. The lecture will begin with an overview of what private prosecutions are and the types of individuals and organisations who may consider bringing such a case, before going on to explore why they are needed and the types of cases that have successfully been brought as private prosecutions.
