Grant Writing Skills Workshop

Couse expectations: Community Groups will improve their skills and confidence in writing grant application thereby improving their chances of securing funding; Identify ways to make informed decisions when writing project plan and cost for grant applications; Learn ways of upskilling group members to offer relevant input to grant applications; Groups will have a tool kit to refer to when writing their grant application Aim of the course: This course is is suitable for any organisation wanting to gain grants for work in Peterborough including community groups, faith based groups, minority ethnic groups. Relevant Standards: Fundraising Regulator—good practice This is a non-accredited workshop attainable by all levels of ability. A St Philip’s Centre/Near Neighbours Certificate of attendance will be given to candidates and each will be supplied with copies of fundraising toolkits, a power point presentation and a manual of tools and examples.
