It is set up over five weeks on three-hour workshops.  The workshops are interactive and fun.  Please book all five of the dates as the workshops link onto each other.  If you would need to miss one please get in touch with Nahla directly.  Nahla will work with your child and give activities and feedback on things you can carry on and do at home also to support your child's EQ score.   Nahla Summers runs these workshops because she is passionate about giving our young people the best start in life.  She does this by supporting the increase of Emotional Intelligence in them. In a society that is communicating more and more through technology, the need for Emotional Intelligence training and workshops in our young has never been so important. What is Emotional Intelligence? It is one of the most important skills we can develop in our children.

 The title Emotional Intelligence (abbreviated to EI or EQ, the alternative to IQ which we better understand to be a measurement of intelligence) is a measurement of Emotional Intelligence as documented in the 1996 book of the same name by Daniel Goleman.   Why increase your child's Emotional Intelligence? Unlike IQ which is less likely to change over time, EQ is something you can develop quite significantly.   It's how we deal with our emotions and their effects  The way we learn and take in information is better with a higher EQ The way we cope and understand others emotions When under stress, the pressure of challenges and how we deal with those The list goes on and on.  As you can see, the effects of increasing Emotional Intelligence has nothing but positive effects.
 They conduct EQ workshops now in many adult workspaces but Nahla believes that this knowledge should be given to our Youth.   "It is now imperative for raising better communities with less depression, anxiety, and suicide; that we must develop our young peoples' emotional intelligence."
