***YOU MUST BE A MEMBER OF STAFF AT THE UNIVERSITY OF BRIGHTON TO BOOK ON THIS WORKSHOP*** Would benefit: all staff, especially ECRs This workshop is open to all stages of research careers - starting, accelerating, stalled, re-starting, … We will work on setting and then monitoring career goals, breaking goals down into activities to create a personal action plan, and dealing with pressures around time and other elements of academic roles. We will also draw on the Vitae Researcher Development Framework (RDF) to discuss the skills needed to develop a research career and how these skills can be enhanced through career development training opportunities. Facilitators: Professor Andrew Church (Associate Pro-Vice Chancellor), Dr Daniel Burdsey (DHoS R&E School of Sports and Service Management) and Dr Olu Jenzen (DHoS R&E School of Media) Use of Eventbrite The University of Brighton’s use of this system is in line with this privacy policy - https://www.brighton.ac.uk/siteinfo/privacy/eventbrite-privacy-policy.aspx - provided on the website.
