The Social Media Marketing Workshop is a one-day programme for people who want to know what works and what doesn’t work on Social Media. How to cut through the noise and get the best out of Social Media without burning too much time on it. The day concentrates on Social Media as a marketing channel: how it fits in with your overall marketing strategy and how to use it to support your objectives and ultimately gain more business. We review how social media can fit into a simple and clear model for marketing, understand what your business stands for and who your customers are, and what social media can do for your overall business plan. We talk about what you should and shouldn’t do, the questions you need to ask yourself, and key tactics you need to employ. The three channels – Twitter, Facebook and Linkedin will be reviewed: what makes them special, different and above all, useful.

What are the best routes and methods for each channel to get the most out of them? We will go in-depth into the uses of social media as a paid channel. How to advertise, what to say, and how to structure your campaigns - covering building audiences, targeting and the key components of a successful campaign. Because video is a key element of social media, we will give you a simple structure to follow so that you can get the best from what you produce: how to incorporate it and why you should use it. At the end of the day you will be able to review what you are doing, implement a more successful campaign, save time and ultimately support your business objectives.
