This course aims to explain how to use your Nikon DSLR camera by taking you through the various modes and operations of the camera. It is suitable for anyone who has recently bought a Nikon Digital SLR or upgraded from a previous camera and is looking to learn more about how their camera works.  Understanding Your Nikon DSLR includes the following topics: Common controls and buttons - i.e. focus selection and partial metering  Program modes and Picture Control - what are they used for and when to use them  Focus Modes – AF-S, AF-C and AF-A Drive Modes Resolution settings - When to shoot with RAW or JPEG & What are NEF Files?  Lens & Accessory Advice  Choosing and Formatting memory cards  Required Equipment: In order to fully engage with this course, you will need to bring your Nikon DSLR with you.

Please also bring a memory card with sufficient memory, and a fully charged battery. Required Skill Level: This course is aimed at novices/beginners so there are no expectations of prior knowledge - you will cover everything on the day. What Is Included With This Course? As well as covering the course content, you will also receive the following on the course: Refreshments - Tea/Coffee/Hot Chocolate or cold drinks are available throughout the afternoon. Please note: Some of our courses require a minimum number of participants to enable us to operate them. If the minimum number of bookings required for a course has not been received, we are entitled to cancel it.
