This course aims to explain how to use your Canon DSLR camera by taking you through the various modes and operations of the camera. It is suitable for anyone who has recently bought a Canon Digital SLR or upgraded from a previous camera and is looking to learn more about how their camera works. Understanding Your Canon DSLR covers the following topics: Common controls and buttons - i.e. focus selection and partial metering Exposure and Picture Modes - what are they used for and when to use them Focus Modes - One Shot, AI Focus & AI Servo Resolution settings - When to shoot with RAW or JPEG & What are CR2 Files? Lens & Accessory Advice FEL Lock Formatting memory cards Use of My Menu to simplify menu navigation Required Equipment: In order to fully engage with this course, you will need to bring your Canon DSLR with you.
