Are you looking for help to kickstart a new business? Would you like to explore and test the viability of your start-up business idea? Or perhaps you need support with business planning, marketing and legalities?   The Business Start-up Programme may be the answer.   Over the course of 2 days, we will support Start-up entrepreneurs to research and develop their business model and acquire the knowledge and skills they need to take it forward.   Programme Content Day 1 About you the entrepreneur Explore your business idea Legalities of being in business Legal Structure options Testing viability through Market Research Marketing the business and Selling Business planning overview   Day 2 Recap from Day 1 Good financial management Pricing and sales forecasting Cash Flow forecasting exercise Sources of Finance Business Model Development   Learning Outcomes As a result of attending the programme we expect delegates to have: A developed Business Model, tested with peers, and a starting point for their business plan.

A level of Field Research completed with peers, giving reassurance about the service or product offer. Sales & Cashflow forecasting demystified to better succeed at financial management New skills and knowledge to take forward to make the business happen and a framework to do so. Eligibility Criteria Please note that to attend this event you must be signed up to the Cheshire & Warrington Business Growth Programme. To find out more about the 12 hours of fully funded support from the progamme and to register please email: [email protected] or call 01244 567 500. To be eligible to apply for support from the growth programme you must be: • Small – your new business must be an SME. An SME has under 250 staff, turnover of £45 million and any ownership by a wider commercial group is below 25%. • Local – your business address is within the Cheshire East, the Cheshire West and Chester, or the Warrington council areas.• B2B – you must be (or plan to be) trading business-to-business and not selling directly to consumers.
Parking There is parking available at the Little Roodee car park which is a short walk from the Riverside Innovation Centre. If you need a disabled parking space please contact the organiser and request one.
