Leadership Foundation Resilience Wellbeing

Resilience is defined by most as the ability to recover from setbacks, adapt well to change, and keep going in the face of adversity. While reacting positively and moving forward when confronted with a crisis or challenge is important, it is no longer enough to think of resilience as a survival strategy. Instead we must prepare for setbacks and challenges before they happen. By taking a pro-active, sustainable approach that considers well-being as a key aspect of resilience, we as leaders can set our teams and organisations up success.  At this Foundation, we will explore how the latest thinking and brain science can help develop resilience and improve wellbeing in individuals, teams and organisations. Informed by the experiences of our attendees and guest speakers, we will develop practical tips to support you and your organisation to be ready for adversity and able to successfully adapt.

The Workshop The event will start with an evening meal on the 19th May, allowing you to meet your fellow attendees in a relaxed environment. A full day workshop then follows on the 20th May. This Foundation will be at Madingley Hall, Cambridge. We hope you are able to join us. Event ticket £295+VAT. Tickets include a three-course dinner, overnight accommodation, full-day workshop, refreshments and lunch. About the First Ascent Foundation The First Ascent Foundation brings senior leaders together to share and discuss the latest ideas and solutions around a contemporary leadership subject.
