Wonderful Cambridge Photography Experience

Join Park Cameras for a day of photography in wonderful Cambridge with tuition from our resident professional photographer Steve Marley. The day starts at Cafe Nero opposite Kings College Chapel at 11:00am for a drink and to go through what we will be doing. We will then set off on a tour of Cambridge including Kings College, Punts, The Bridge of Sighs, Fitzwilliam museum area, and trinity College area. This will be a circular tour finishing back at Cafe Nero at around 4pm. There will be a stop at around 1:00pm where you will have the opportunity for lunch (not included). Workshop leader Steve will provide full assistance and advice with settings for your camera, lens choice and composition. Steve will take images and show the results throughout the tour to help you along.

This tour will provide great opportunities for landscapes, cityscapes, close-up details, colour abstracts, and street photography. For those attending this experience, we recommend you travel light - a camera plus a wide angle plus a telephoto would be a good choice. A polarising filter would also be useful. You are welcome to bring a tripod, but light levels are normally high so not necessary. Following the event, you can post some images to Flickr or send some to Steve for appraisal and helpful suggestions. Please note that you will receive an email from us a day or two before the event with full meeting point instructions and suggestions on what to bring with you. Please note some of our courses require a minimum number of participants to enable us to operate. We reserve the right to cancel/ postpone a course and will notify you of any ammendments no later than 7 days before your course is due to take place.
