CHRIS CORCORAN IS HOSTING A CHARITY BLACK TIE (Smart casual) DINNER IN AID OF NIGHTINGALE HOUSE HOSPICE AND INVITES YOU TO COME AND JOIN HIM AT THE RAMADA PLAZA HOTEL WREXHAM ON SATURDAY 16th NOVEMBER 2019. Chris is taking part in the 2020 Inca Trail Trek to raise much needed funds for our local hospice. This is a tough challenge and will require a lot of physical and mental preparation; he is hoping for your support. The evening will start with a welcome drink at 6.30pm followed by a three-course dinner and tea/coffee.  House wines for each table will also be provided. The event features two renowned speakers and experts in their respective fields of work: Richard Hollis: Cybersecurity and Data Privacy Expert Richard Hollis is the Chief Executive Officer for a cyber security consultancy firm called Risk Crew specialising in data security risk management and testing services.

Over the course of his career Richard has served as Director of Security for Phillips, Paris, and Deputy Director of Security for the US Embassy Moscow Reconstruction Project as well as a variety of sensitive security positions within the US government and military.  In addition to his work with the Risk Crew, Richard serves on several security technology company boards and security industry advisory councils. Richard is a celebrated public speaker and as a recognised industry authority, he has published numerous articles and white papers and appeared on national and international broadcast news shows as well as being cited in a wide range of press. Gareth Hawkins, Bomb disposal/Munitions Response Services. Gareth is currently operationally deployed in North East Syria by Tetra Tech Munitions Response as Chief of Party performing Conventional Weapons Destruction and IED clearance throughout the region.
One year after ISIS was pushed out of Northern Syria there still remains a huge threat to local habitants from the massive contamination from Improvised Explosive Devices (IED’s) and other Explosive Remnants of War (ERW) left behind by ISIS. Since 2016 Tetra Tech has recovered and destroyed over 6000 explosive hazards from land, roads and structures. Gareth and his team are the operational arm of the Munitions Response Services, making Syria that bit safer from these IED’S. Having worked in many war torn zones Gareth has some fascinating stories to share. Tables of 8 can be purchased for £280 (plus booking fee) Individuals are welcome for £35 per head (plus booking fee) For more information about the Inca Trail Challenge 2020 visit > www.justgiving.com/fundraising/chris-corcoran-inca-trail
