An evening of networking, support and inspirational talks with female business professionals. Come and join us for a glass of bubbles in a boutique space, perfect for conversation and creative thinking on how women can lift each other up. 2019 Dates: Thursday 14th March Thursday 23rd May Thursday 11th July Thursday 5th September Thursday 14th November We have an exciting talk from Kate and Rachel... Kate and Rachel have just returned from a week long trip with 4 others on a Women’s Challenge expedition in Malawi. The whole group took the leap of faith not knowing one another before the trip and grasped lots of new challenges whilst experiencing the amazing culture and landscapes of Malawi. Rachel and Kate will discuss their experiences, why they took up the challenge and what they have learnt from their travels.

These trips aim to support tourism and business connecting people with skills sharing.   Sustainable tourism. Specialising in life-changing expeditions for families and women’s expeditions to Malawi.   Kate Webb Owner of two niche travel companies. Passionate about making tourism reach local communities in Malawi and finding sustainable ways to ensure travel is beneficial to developing countries. Currently working on Women's Expeditions to Malawi and the power of connecting women from around the world in cross cultural exchange. Also working on bespoke family expeditions to Malawi and engaging young people with the opportunity to learn about global citizenship through student expeditions to Africa. https://www.linkedin.com/company/orbis-expeditions/    Rachel Bell A trained architect, Rachel has worked across many sectors within Stride Treglown and is now head of business development working across 9 offices.
Rachel is also very involved in attracting and supporting women in the construction industry. Helped by her role with Women in Property including a highly successful year as Chair of the South West branch in 2017/2018. Through this year Rachel maximised her ‘stand tall’ mantra and was in the forefront of promoting awareness for diversity and inclusion. She is invited regularly to chair panel sessions at leading industry events pushing her out of her comfort zone. When the opportunity arose of taking her skills to share with business women and school children in Malawi she jumped at the chance to give it a go……..
