Join us for 'March For Men' at Ferry Meadows 2019 in East Anglia March for Men with us this October for the East Anglia's 2nd Prostate Cancer UK family walk/run at Ferry Meadows. We raised a WHOPPING £17,020.40 last year on our 1st event with 268 attendees. Let's make this year even better. FERRY MEADOWS Peterborough, Cambridgeshire PE2 5UU Sunday 6th October 2019 Event opens - 09.30am  Walk starts - 11am £10.00 registration fee, £50 suggested fundraising target Under 5's FREE 2k, 5k or 10k routes Must be 18 years or over to register (under 18s can attend with a registered parent or guardian) All welcome - Even the dogs Register now and help us raise a target of £200,000 to support Prostate Cancer UK fund vital research into better ways to diagnose men earlier, treat, prevent and support men and their families living with prostate cancer.

So gather up your friends, family, colleagues, and dogs for a perfect Sunday activity to help stop prostate cancer from being a killer. Every 45 minutes a man loses his life to prostate cancer, 1 in 4 black men and 1 in 8 white men are affected. Take on either the short 2.5k, medium 5k or long walk 10k and help stop prostate cancer being a killer. The short route is fully accessible for wheelchairs and pushchairs. Under 5's are free, but anyone under 18 must be with an adult/parent/guardian.
Can I bring my dog? Yes. This is a family event and our pets are also part of the family. We do ask that you keep your dog on a lead at all times, due to high attendee levels. We do not want pets being lost and scared. Please make sure you clean up after your dogs, using dog waste bags and placing them in the appropriate bins. What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event? There are cameras on entry that take s photo of your car number plate. Please pay at the ticket machines before you exit, or you can pay after the vent online. Please make sure you do pay or there will be a fine.   What can I bring into the event? Please bring your own water and weather dependent clothing and footwear.

There is NO REFUND, all monies go to the charity. Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? Print out your ticket or keep the Eventbrite app on your phone with your confirmation details Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable? You can transfer the name to someone else by emailing us the details only Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends? Please email us with this request, so T-shirt sizes are correct on the day.
Wheelchair access We suggest using the 2.5km route for wheelchair users as this is a smoother route, although wheelchair users did use the 5km route last year. We leave this at your own discretion.  Many thanks for your interest and we look forward to seeing you on the day. Uniting4theguys
