Worship Academy Feb Th Worshipping Time Adverstity

Happy New Year and welcome back to Worship Academy. In February our session is on Worshipping in times of adversity. As leaders of worship we all been their when times are hard for ourselves or the church we are leading worship in. As the Psalmist says where does our help come from?Well let's look at the Psalms and try to see how we can sing the lord's song in a strange land. Throw our study together we hopefully find help to find out voice and proclaim God's grace when times get tough. Our session this month is led by Mr Bob Bartindale whose current role is as Officer for Worship and Local Preachers in the Methodist Connexional Team.  Bob believes in preaching - he came to faith through preaching and remains convinced that faithful preaching is a powerful agent for change  He's engineer by profession and served as lay pastor.  A ReminderA reminder that Worship Academy is open to all leaders of worship.

That is our Local Preachers (for whom it counts in their commitment to CLPD – Continuous Local Preacher’s Development), all our Worship Leaders, all our Ministers and anyone else who is considering to become Local Preachers or Worship Leaders in the future. If there are people you want to invite as a way of helping them think in that direction, they are welcome too. All we ask, is that everyone who comes is booked in.Just a reminder of our timings:-7:00pm Arrive and eat and have fellowship over food tea & coffee with other leaders of worship, Local Preachers, Ministers etc.8:00pm Worship8:15-9:15pm Sessions(Sessions may overrun slightly but we aim to be out of the building by 9:30pm)Donations for the Meal and Future speakers will be accepted at the door.
