In association with University Radio York. URY Headspace is a student radio show at the University of York, where we aim to get people talking about mental health. We discuss topics that are commonly related to young adult mental health; such as anxiety, body image and gender. Every week, we talk through a different type of difficulty or disorder, with a panel including an professional on the topic, and offer information about possible services where students can seek help, both on and off campus. We also have a report where we ask students how they cope with particular issues. This episode, we are joined by representatives from Movember; a nationwide, annual charity movement fundraising for men's mental health and suicide prevention. This is something that needs to be talked about, so tune in to URY Headspace at 9pm, to raise your awareness of Movember and Mental Health.

Listen online at or 1350AM on campus. Please also check out our raffle, details here: Globally, the rate of suicide is alarmingly high, particularly in men. Too many men are ‘toughing it out’, keeping their feelings to themselves and struggling in silence. The Movember Foundation is aiming to reduce the rate of male suicide by 25% by 2030, and we want to help them get there. Help us stop men dying too young. Donate here:
